Lesly Allen served for 10 years as Executive Arts Director for the City of South Salt Lake. In this role, Lesly was tasked with building SSL’s arts programming from the ground up, including community events, arts education programs, creative placemaking projects and programs that support economic development, including the tremendously successful Mural Fest program.

 

As Co-Founder and Producer of South Salt Lake's annual Mural Fest, created in 2018, the City now boasts Utah’s largest concentration of public art murals from artists known around the world. Lesly continues to work as Artist Curator and Project Manager for the Mural Fest program in South Salt Lake, as well as offering program development, project management and artist representation through Allen Arts. Working with her vast network of artists, both local and from around the globe, she works to provide opportunities for artists and meaningful projects to businesses and communities. 

 

Lesly holds a Masters degree in Non-Profit Arts Administration from Westminster College in Salt Lake City, UT and has been involved in the arts community in Utah for over three decades.
